What’s this newsletter all about again?
This newsletter is about walking with Jesus. This means learning to pay attention to the promptings of the Holy Spirit (John 10:3-5; 14:16-17). It means learning to do the things he commanded his disciples to do (Matthew 10:7-8; 28:20). And, of course, walking with Jesus means loving our neighbor, practicing forgiveness, and learning to share the hope we have within us.
Our slogan is that discipleship is not just understanding what Jesus taught, but learning to do what Jesus did (John 14:12).
How often do you send this newsletter?
We aim for once per month.
What kind of content does this newsletter contain?
We almost always have a story. The Bible is full of stories. Jesus used stories when he taught. We believe that people learn best through story, so we try to include stories (that is, records of real life events) as often as we can.
Where do you get your stories from?
We get them from a variety of sources. Sometimes someone in one of the Listening to God is Easy courses shares an interesting story and gives us permission to use it. Sometimes the stories come from our own life experiences.
We love publishing other people’s stories. Do you have an interesting story of how God spoke to you or demonstrated his presence somehow? If so, please hit reply and share it. Stories may be edited for length and clarity.
What if I don’t want to be on this newsletter list?
No problem at all. There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every edition.
If for some strange reason, the unsubscribe link doesn’t work, PLEASE write to me and I will manually remove you, and troubleshoot why the button didn’t work. I rely on an email service to handle the subscribe/unsubscribe side of things, and if it is not working, I definitely want to know.
What won’t you do?
We won’t spam you. We won’t use your stories without your permission. Although we do provide links to books and courses, we never use high
pressure sales tactics. This newsletter is free. We will never share or sell your email address.

Listening to God Course
This is an eight-week online course that usually meets for 1.5 hours on Tuesdays.
